| This is the entrance to Tomorrowland in Disneyland. The photo at the top was taken before the 1998 rehab. In comparing the two photos you can see that with the old Tomorrowland there was a lot more room and open space at the entrance. The first attraction you could see were the people move tracks (now used for the Rocket Rods). You could also see the spires and the entrance to Star Tours and in the background you see the old Rocket Jets (since replaced by the Astro Orbiter). Looking at the bottom you can see that the entrance is now much more full, and the openness of the old entrance is gone. Now instead of seeing clearly into Tomorrowland, some of Tomorrowland is now "hidden". If you look closely, you can still see the People Mover tracks, (now used for the Rocket Rods) and the spires of Star Tours on the right and the spires for the Rocket Rods entrance on the left. |
