| Size is the first thing one notices. At WDW (below), Main Street seems much wider and longer than Disneyland (above). At WDW there appears to be much more room, more "wide open space" and the buildings seem larger. Both photos were taken in August, 1996. In the picture of WDW the changes to Cinderella Castle for the 25th anniversary celebration are not noticeable from this distance. Even though both pictures were taken from approximately the same spot on Main Street, you can see Cinderella Castle clearly, but Sleeping Beauty Castle is difficult to make out. |
