Autumn is in full swing here in the Chilterns. Although the recent high winds have ripped off much of the rich colours, there are still some stragglers left. I came across these in a local graveyard and found the juxtaposition of the dying leaves in such a setting a cause for contemplation. We’ll all face our own autumns eventually; will we fade gracefully?
