trash beer



In the house I am living, affectionately called the Witch house, I have no stove. I do have a microwave and Crock Pot. However, I need a burner to boil the wort. I could buy a hot plate for general cooking and use that for the beer. I am not sure if it will be powerful enough and I don't like using electric burners. If I want a stove or stove top in this house, I will have to go electric. However, I do burn my trash so if I save enough trash, I could boil the wort over the burn barrel. I do wonder about the chemicals given off from burning plastic, would that flavor the beer?
