"The Incredibles" is incredible

Pixar has done it again; they have released yet another amazing animated film. This time, it's "The Incredibles," the story of a super hero family, each of which has special powers. The main character, Mr. Incredible, is going through a mid-life crisis after super heros are banned from helping society with their gifted abilities. Seeing an opportunity to save the world yet again, Mr. Incredible get caught up in a diabolic plan that put him and his family in danger. Together they have to battle the forces of evil with their powers. It's a mix of Batman and X-men.

Overall, I'd give the film high marks. The story, character development, creativity, and comic elements of the film are as good, if not better, than Monster's Inc. (my favorite Pixar film going into The Incredibles). The animation quality is amazing and shows vast improvements made in textures and human models. In addition, the film is longer than any other Pixar film to date (115 minutes).

Way to go Pixar!
