The following article was taken from the publication made 50 years ago, and I have placed it here as it adds to the other summaries presented with the Southern Astronomical Delights Website of the general history of Sydney Observatory. This will completes the whole general history and its progress of the main observational programmes that were conducted at Sydney Observatory. In time, I do hope to write the completion of the story of Sydney Observatory, up to the current day.
