An Elmo Invasion 02.02.07:

We're really not into commercial themes for events, but it was hard not to celebrate the boys second birthday with Elmo. For one, Elmo's birthday just happens to be the day after the boys' ... but even more important, Elmo seems to make these guys (especially Avery) light up with excitement. The boys' primary NICU nurses were all invited again, and even a couple of their wonderful therapists showed up for the special event. Jenni made a very cute and yummy Elmo cake, and our goldfish Kisses played the role of Elmo's fish "Dorothy".
