7.22.05: expressions

He can be serious, comical, charming and silly. Mason has many fun and innocent faces to keep us entertained. He's quite a little ham already, and his mommies love to strike up a 2-way conversation with him and really get him going.

Besides Mason's rapid social development, he continues to grow physically and his breathing seems to be getting stronger all the time. He's approximately 13 lbs. now and is like a sandbag when you drape him over the shoulder.

The only health appointment over the past couple of weeks was a follow-up eye exam. His ROP continues to regress, but is still not entirely gone. This means Mason will be seen again in 4 more weeks. Even though I knew exactly what to expect this time, I still couldn't refrain from tears. At least this time they had stopped by the time I left the office. Maybe next month Mama will take him instead.
