My Life
The majority of my life was spent in a town named Pine Beach, New Jersey, just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. I always enjoyed the ocean but most of my summer days were spent at the beach right down the street from me, where I enjoyed many hours swimming, sailing, fishing, crabbing, and enjoying the river.
I went to college at The Pennsylvania State University and had an incredible experience. I just cannot believe I met so many fabulous people and now we are all spread all around the country. Fortunately, my best friend and I are in the same town and same house. A week after graduationI headed out to Des Plaines, Illinois, just minutes outside of Chicago, IL. I lived in Des Plaines for 6 years and now own a home in Palatine, IL - in a cute little neighborhood. I share my home with two wonderful kittens, Pita and Salsa and a six-year old retired greyhound. The newest family member arrived early in the morning in late December. Evan Michael Muller-Zelazny was born December 16, 2007. He is an amazing little boy and he brings joy to ever day of my life.
My Family My mother is a Health and Physical Education teacher at Toms River Intermediate East. I know she touches many kids’ lives each year! My father retired a few years ago from the same school as a band/computer teacher. He still teaches computers a few days a week at a local college, his students have just gotten a little older. They are both fabulous people and I am happy that they brought me up to be a good person - I never do thank them enough.
Jon, my oldest brother is a scientist at a company near his home. He plays bass in his band, Big Stick Policy, which I wish I could see perform more often. Jon has a new son as well named Nicholas. I know that Jon is enjoying being a father as much as I enjoy being a mother. He was always so amazing with kids Ð I am glad he finally has his chance.
Mike (my other brother), Laurie (my sister-in-law), Colin (my wonderful nephew), and Madison and Morgan (my fabulous nieces) live in Bethlehem, PA. Mike and Laurie are teachers...it definitely runs in the family. Their family is very active and always on the go and I love being with them and experiencing all of the energy.
I look forward to my trips home to NJ to seeing all of my family members!
