Concept Presentation

When

4 August

Description

Prepare a 15-20 minute presentation that documents your team's progress up until this point: explain client's situation as it exists now, define problem areas and opportunities for redesign, show process and structural solution, and present visual solutions.

Outline
  • introduce team & client
  • review current solution
  • describe project goals and redesign opportunities
  • list client's requirements & constraints (intuitively make some up)
  • define user(s) very specifically
  • define navigation, hierarchy and structure
  • present site map and wire frames
  • propose style, type color & imagery
  • unveil a visual concept for each team memeber consisting of at least 4 unique pages (e.g., home, product, contact, enroll, etc.)
  • document advantages and benefits of each concept
  • open yourselves to comments, questions and input
Requirements

Prepare your presentation in a 4:3 full screen format to be projected in potentially a not-so-dark environment. PDF's can be viewed full screen like Powerpoint can. There is just one presentation, but for each team member, a distinct visual solution is required. Each team member's visual solution consists of at least four of the defined pages in the new site.
