Phones still worked


Another image from the Blackout of '03.



One thing I did notice during the blackout was that a lot of people were hanging out, looking out their windows. Kind of reminded me when I was growing up and everyone did that during the summer. The land line phones were working fine that night and that was comforting somehow. I wondered why she looked so upset.
