/APLE >>EVOLLUTION OF A DVD ALBUM

A presentation of 16 sound/motion graphic/typographical sculptures, Consisting of minimal typographical dub environments and synched glitch infused, motion graphic sequences.

To be used, mixed and performed at media festivals, as part of digital iinstalations and amoeba a/v performances. Each APLE performance is unique, with the 16 tracks being played, mixed, cut and time stretched live continuing on with the evolution and ethos of the remix project.

/ORIGIN
Each track originaly started life as a 5 second ident with synched audio known as[origin] for use as live as av samples. Each [origin] plays directly before the VERSION or REACTION tracks, in order to show the process+evolution of the track, from ORIGIN through to VERSION then REACTION.

/VERSION
Each [origin] was re-sequenced and processed using arkaos/ nuvj controller/module 8, the resulting a/v mixes evolved into the first individual tracks now known as [versions].

During these midi video mix sessions no audio or video other than that embedded within the origin was used in the [version] mixes, all audio+video sounds.synching effects/glitches come direct from the midi video sessions.

/REACTION
once each [version] mix had evolved, the next process for these a/v tracks was for themselves to be remixed as [reactions] to the [versions] in the [reaction] process the [version] were deconstructed+eroded in after effects, re sequenced in arkaos
and final cut pro with audio re-edits done in logic.
