「あまりる」の由来
The origin of "Amaril"

名付け親のさいらによると、「あまりる」というのは人造宝石の一種ということです。
でもそれはさいらの勘違いじゃないかと思ってるのですが...。それでも、語呂がいいので私は気に入っています。

ところで、この名前は「アシモフ」と同じイントネーションで発音してください。
平たく発音されるとなぜかダメージを受けちゃいます。(^^;

また最近、インターネット上の他のサイトで『Amaril」という名前を見つけました。
それはホテルの名前だったり、大型汎用機のエミュレータだったりします...。
驚いたのは、黄熱ウイルスに『Amaril』というものがあることです。
これはスペイン語の『Amarillo：黄色』から来ているそうです。
でもホテルもエミュレータも、黄色とは結びつきませんねぇ。どんな由来なのでしょう？

Acoording to my older brother "Saila", He is also a godfather of "Amaril", "Ah-mah-ri-ru" is a kind of artifical jewels.(in Japanese)
But, I guess that he may took a mistake.... Even if his mistake, I like my name becouse of its sound.

By the way, please pronounce my name with same intonation of "Asimov". ;-)
For unknown reasons, I'll be dameged by "flat" intonation.

And recently, I found the name "Amaril" at other sites in the Internet.
These are a name of a hotel, and a main frame emulator...
I was surprised that there is a yellow fever virus named "Amaril".
It was named from Spanish "Amarillo = Yellow".
But I can not imagine a relationship with Yellow and hotels, emulators. What origin do they have?

Computers and I

私はMacintoshを持っています。
そしてWindowsPCもいくつか持っています。

私はMacintoshのCreative Mindといったものが大好きなので、もの造りにはMacintoshを使ってます。（お絵描きとか、Webオーサリングとか）
同時に、Windowsの普及度やそこで働く人たちの努力も知っています。
ですからWindowsも好きですし、仕事にも関わっています。（大抵はVBプログラマーや、システムエンジニアとして）

I own some Macintosh.
And I own some Windows PC.

I love creative mind of Macintosh. So I use Macintosh for creative work.(Painting, web authoring)
Also, I appreciate popularity and making effort by peple working on the Windows.
So I like Windows, and work with them.(mostly as a VB programer, and as a system desginer)

好きなもの
Favariets

食べ物は薄味が好み。どちらかと言うと洋食派。
パンとお菓子は大好きで、新しいパン屋とチョコ系のお菓子はとりあえず試してみます。
服は柄よりも色で選びます。基本カラーはブルー系とブラウン系。
ジャケットなんかの大人しいものが中心。センスは...？

アニメ、マンガ、小説はSF〜ファンタジーが中心。
例えば、装甲騎兵ボトムズ、ラーゼフォン、2001夜物語、カードキャプターさくら、鋼鉄都市、R.O.D、etc...

絵画は具象画の方が好み。どちらかと言うと緻密な画面が好きみたいです。
例えば、エドワード ホッパー、きたのじゅんこ、田中久仁彦、etc...

音楽はアニメ関連のポップスを中心に、たまに洋楽やクラシックをつまみ食い。
例えば、林原めぐみ、新居昭乃、ささきいさお、水木一郎、Queen、etc...

I like foods which are lightly flavored. I like Western foods rather than others.
Especially, I like buns and candy very much, so if there is a new bakery or a new candy made of chocolate, I would try it.
I select my clothes by its color rather than its pattern. Basic colors are blue and brown.
I usually in a jacket and so on. Fashon sense?...as you imagine.

About anime, manga, novels, I like SF and Fantasy.
For example, Aormored troopers Votoms, Rahxephon, 2001 nights stories, Card capter Sakura, Iron city, R.O.D, etc...

About picture, I like representational paintings, and I like elaborate one.
For example, Edward Hopper, Junko Kitano, Kunihiko Tanaka, etc...

About music, I like pops which has relevance to anime. Sometimes I listen to Western music or classic music.
For example, Megumi Hayashibara, Akino Arai, Isao Sasaki, Ichiro Mizuki, Queen, etc...
