First day meetings: old and new

OK, the first ICANN Meeting day is over. You know, the one with multiple meeting running in parallel, with agendas that never completely adjust for those like me wanting to cherry-picj from here and there ;-)

Besides the usual meetings from GAC, ALAC and GNSO constituencies (escept IPC, which is becoming a tradition, as well. Intellectual Property interest came here jsut for the cybersquatting issue, and the UDRP. Now it's time to readjust the "user side" of the GNSO, and a separate IPC does not seem to make sense anymore), GAC and ALAC. The novelty was that we had two separate ccTLD meetings: the new ccNSO, with its brand new ccNSO Council and apparently, the one from those not joining the ccNSO (I can not confirm yet that this second meeting actually took place, but I've been told it did).

It seems that the ccNSO will now need through the usual times of trbubling structuring that the GNSO already experienced. Let's hope it is much shorter this time.
