Here's a collection of 3D photos I created using raw photos from NASA. The Spirit rover has two cameras mounted on it's mast just a few inches apart. A pair of photos taken at the same time imitate the perspective of human vision. I selected small areas of interest from within larger images, areas that exhibited good 3D effect or exciting topology. All you need to view 3D is to train yourself to look at the left image with your left eye and the right image with your right eye. The brain will create a third image that is 3D. Enjoy.

Mars 01
Several broken rocks and a patch of soil that was disturbed by the landing.

Mars 02
This panoramic shot shows a curved horizon and an undulating landscape in the background.

Mars 03
Many rocks and a hummock with rocks and sand.

Mars 04
Notice the drift of sand to the leeward of the rock pile.

Mars 05
Fractured rocks and finer windblown material.

Mars 06
A large boulder, "Adirondack" the rover's first target rock.

Mars 8-High contrast brings out details.

Mars 9
A little brighter look at "Adirondack"

Mars 10-Adirondack at high contrast

Mars 11-Fractured bedrock.
The ground is littered with spherules eroded from the softer matrix.

Mars 12-Panorama
My favorite Marscape so far.
(hint-bring the black dots together!)

Mars 13-Sharp Rock
Wind seems to have formed a blade.

A closer look.
