A "Thank You!" to The Old Ways mailing list
for their info on how to find a picture
of "The Lady of Shalott".

Thanks to the people who made me aware of the "Lady of Shalott" painting by Waterhouse! :-> I've looked for the Romance of the Past calendar as suggested, but no luck. I did find a copy of the painting in a very expensive art book, and the "Lady of Shalott" is *BEAUTIFUL*. I've got to have it!!!! But this book was much too rich for my budget, besides, "The Lady" would be hidden within, a crime, I'm sure! I asked about for the possibility of finding a poster/print somehow, but no luck as yet.(For a fleeting, crazed, passionate moment, I had considered relieving the book of that particular page, but* KNEW * "The Lady" would blacken and turn to ashes in the hands of so great a sinner!) Is there someone who could tell me how/where to get my own affordable poster/print of this magnificent creation? From what my weak eyes could tell, "The Lady", her boat, the tapestry she lies on, the reeds she passeth thru, all are expressed in loving detail, by an artist obviously in love with his subject, as I now am.
