Most people have never heard of Loreena McKennitt. That makes it hard to find someone to connect with. LM music lovers meet on The Old Ways mailing list. Most of my music collection is
hammered dulcimer, tin whistle, medieval, folk, renaissance, celtic, ballads, etc. I answer a fellow Old-Wayer who is feeling left out. |

Cheer up Steve,
I suspect this be true of many LM fans,
'Tis true of myself, and I cherish the fact.
Am I right old-ways members?
And yet loneliness can be inspiring, to a point.
You can often be lonely in a crowd.
Crowds are often full of very lonely people.
I walk in the woods alone, surrounded by friends.
I've often been in crowds, alone.
Lonely.
Alone.
All is relative.
All is a matter of perspective.
Here on The Old-Ways are those who understand.
We all once could have said "gee, Ive never heard of them."
I once could have said, "Loreena McKennitt... Who?"
We all will discover new things we've never heard of.
Greg
