Wild Rice To GoMarch 650 degrees plus today! Six inches of melting snow covered most of the ground but the cache was high and dry and in excellent condition. AND NO BUGS! (Well, we did see one lonely, cold mosquito.) The creek was open but not yet flooded with the spring thaw. All in all, it was a great day to be out and about. Found and took TB Wishnik who has been stuck in this cache seven months now! Poor Wishnik didn't even have any company as the cache is otherwise pretty much empty. We left the easter bunny to take Wishnik's place as guardian of the rice beds, but we wish we had more stuff to fill that ammo box up. It was a very empty, lonely place for an old troll to spend the cold winter. We are Crazy4! |
