Little Falls Covert CacheLovely spot! But cold. Ground is froze along shore and ice is starting. Little sun was reaching the river bottom this time of year, even though there are no leaves left on the trees. Lost all signal as soon as we descended, but my last reading above got us in the zone, and the clue zeroed us in. Has any cacher noticed the new house across the river on the cliff top? Maybe we only saw it because there were no leaves. I hope this spot is not going to become someones' private domain as it should be preserved for public access forever. This spot was so nice we spent some time exploring. Does anyone know the story behind the memorial cross for the 8 year old girl a little upstream from the cache? As we left, a short drive around the settlement of Little Falls wetted our desire to come back here for more exploration as there seems to be many historical sites in "town". Found and took TB Kevin.
