Dean Polanka Cache

Enjoyed the walk down the trail. Really enjoyed the view of the river. Water was very high from rain the day before, but todays weather was perfect. Really enjoyed seeing a very large Pileated Woodpecker near the cache. There is a LARGE poplar tree blown down across the trail. Those ATVers (who aren't supposed to be on this trail anyway) will not be able to get around it, but they might squeeze under it! What we didn't enjoy was not finding the cache. Spending 20 or 30 minutes hanging over the bridge, trying to look and feel around, without falling into the water was a LITTLE frustrating. Hope you could feel it in your heart to give a lot more specific clue for those of us that don't want to have to jump through hoops to log a find. We are Team Crazy4, and this one skunked us!
