Class schedule through October

Just a reminder
that I will be out of town May 5-17. There will be no
regular meetings of the Course in Miracles study
groups during the next two weeks. The Tuesday morning
group will meet informally at the usual time; Laura
Dowd has committed to being there for anyone else who
wants to join her for an informal discussion.
Our regular meetings will resume on Tuesday, May 19 and Thursday, May 21. We will meet that week and the next, with our last meetings before the summer break being May 26 and 28.
There will be a long summer break: June, July, and August. During the first week of August, Unity Church of Portland will be presenting a week (M-F) of Spiritual Education and Enrichment, with six classes offered in four time slots: 8-10 AM, 10AM to noon, 1-3 PM, and 7-9 PM. There are flyers up in the lobby if you are interested. Topics include Metaphysical Bible Interpretation (Old Testament), Metaphysics I, Prosperity, Healing, Creative Process in the Bible, and history of the Unity Movement. In September and October, I will be offering an 8-week class on Thursday evenings, "Path of Light: A Comprehensive Overview of A Course in Miracles." This class will present a concise summary overview of the Course's thought system, providing a framework on which students can build their understanding of the Course and its message. Recommended for both new and experienced students. Presented on a love offering basis. The tentative dates for the classes are September 17 through November 5. (It's possible the class will start on Sept 10 instead of Sept 17, and end a week earlier, on October 29.) During those months there will be no meetings of our study groups, either Tuesday or Thursday, as my time and energy will be directed to making the classes as enriching as possible. I encourage all members of both study groups to attend the classes if possible.
