Marianne Williamson on XMRadio

Some interesting
information I want to pass on to you:
I was just watching a recorded episode of Oprah with my wife, and on one of the station breaks, Oprah announced that Marianne Williamson, author of "Return to Love" and a famous teacher of A Course in Miracles, will be "teaching A Course in Miracles every day of 2008, starting January 1, on XMRadio Channel 156."
I did a little research to find out more. XMRadio is satellite radio, and to listen to it, you must subscribe in some way or another. I found out that if you have DirecTV's "Choice" package, many XM channels are included, including "Oprah and Friends (it's Channel 807 on DirecTV)."
Use your web browser to go to this page on Oprah's site: . Click on the "Program Schedule" tab, and you will see a complete schedule of all the shows on the Oprah & Friends channel. Make sure you set the time to "PT" (Pacific Time). I see Marianne there multiple times each day; it does not indicate that it is the ACIM topic. I think Marianne has had a call-in talk show during 2007, so perhaps the schedule will change on January 1. I'll investigate more and let you know if I find out more.
You can also subscribe to listen online. You can get a free 3-day trial, but normal subscription online costs $7.99/month. I will probably do that, since I can program my computer to record the broadcasts and listen to them whenever I want to. If you buy an XM radio (a cheap one costs $40), you can take it anywhere in the country to listen, and subscribing costs $12.95/month. None of these are cheap, but if you are interested it may be worthwhile, and there is a lot of other good content (especially music without commercials) on XM.
I love listening to Marianne Williamson. She is a superstar speaker, always interesting, often challenging, and usually (at one point or another) extremely funny. And she has a good grasp of the Course. If you do nothing else, try the 3-day trial some time in January and listen to Marianne on your computer.
Blessings,
Allen
