Schedule of meetings over the holidays
Dec 15, 2009 20:16
Over the holidays
we’ll be taking some time off.
We DO meet Dec 17 and 19, Tuesday AM and Thursday PM.
There are no further meetings in December.
The next meetings, both of them covering the Text, Chapter 1, Section II, will be on
Tuesday, Jan 5, 10:30 AM
and
Thursday, Jan 7, 7 PM
To all of you, a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
“This Christmas, give the Holy Spirit everything that would hurt you. Let yourself be healed completely that you may join with Him in healing, and let us celebrate our release together by releasing everyone with us.” (T-15.XI.3:1-2).

Christmas Articles Posted
Dec 14, 2009 13:27 Filed in: Article
I’ve posted three
Christmas articles, two by me and one by Robert Perry.
These articles were originally published in the
newsletter of The Circle of Atonement,
A Better
Way. You
can find the three on the “Extras Downloads” page, or
you can read them online in the “Extras” folder. I’ve
created new folders called “Extras” to contain these
articles since they are not really Text Commentaries or
Workbook Lesson commentaries.
There is also a text file containing a collection of quotes from the Course that deal with Christmas. I expect to have these as handouts for us all to use in class on Tuesday.
I will be going over two of these articles in Tuesday’s special Christmas class.

Comments thru T-1.II; reorganizing
Dec 03, 2009 11:43
I’ve posted comments
on ACIM Text T-1.I, Part 2, and T-1.II.
I’ve also begun reorganizing the downloads section so that it is easier to navigate. So far, I’ve created a new “Chapter 1 Downloads” page, and will do a separate page for each chapter as we go. I’ll rearrange the older commentaries (T-12 thru T-14, and the Workbook lessons) over the next month or so.
HOLIDAY NOTES!
Because both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve fall on Thursdays, we won’t have study group meetings those nights. We have already missed one Thursday due to my being out of town. Therefore, to keep the groups in sync, I have decided that the Tuesday morning group will not meet on December 22 and 29, and, to make up for the week the Thursday group has already missed, the Tuesday group, on Dec 15, will do a special study of Course passages that relate to Christmas. (People from Thursday’s group are invited, if they can come to a morning meeting.)

Introduction commentary posted
Nov 18, 2009 12:24 Filed in: Announcement
I've posted my
commentary on the Introduction to the Text of the
Course. Available on the website for reading (Text
Commentaries page) or download as PDF (Download Docs
page).
The Tuesday morning group only got halfway through the Preface yesterday, so we'll be completing the Preface next Tuesday and, I hope, covering the Introduction as well. The Thursday group, tomorrow (12:19) will cover about the same amount.
Please read through the Preface and Introduction before our next meeting (11/24 for the Tuesday group, and since this is Thanksgiving season, the Thursday group will be skipping a week and will get to the Introduction on 12/3). The commentaries and study questions are, as always, recommended, but optional.

Starting at the beginning!
Nov 17, 2009 00:23
On November 17 and 19,
we will be starting at the beginning of the Text with
the Preface to the Text. I've posted my commentary on
the Preface to this website [http://allen-watson.com].
The version that can be read online is on the "Text
Commentaries" page; the downloadable version is on the
"Download Docs" page.
I will be posting the commentary on the Introduction to the Text in the next day or two, so please check back.
