After almost two weeks of clouds, the sun finally decided to come out. It’s really too bad that it didn’t shine for the LS&I, but beggars can’t be choosy.
Back in Hermansville, I wandered around town and shot whatever caught my fancy.
Relics in and around the local museum.
Down at the lake. Where the water rushes down a flume-type thing the ice never really solidifies.
Local growth near the water.
Some old valves used to pump water out of the town stream and into the Volunteer Fire Department’s tanker.
Abandoned switch stand.
Old garage belonging to the flooring mill. Experiment with a polarizer. Sumac bush in Grandmother’s driveway.
Sunset over the old flooring and furniture factory. The Moon, too, put in an appearance.
