Celebrating People

On the occasion of my three thousandth post to the Leica Forum (now the Leica Camera User Forum) twenty of my photographs were published on that site as a sampler of my continuing interest in people of all sizes, shapes, demeanors and demands, good and bad, sincere or indifferent.

Like it or not, they are all visiting here on the same big satellite that you and I travel on; so we might as well get used to them.

More people shots are scattered throughout this site, and on the Leica Camera User Forum (with its searchable archive from the old Leica Forum) as well as my galleries at the Leica Users Gallery, and the Leica Gallery.

One comment about the photos here: all were made with a manual Leica MP film camera and either the incredibly versatile Leica 35mm f2 ASPH lens, or the incomparable Leica 50mm f1.4 ASPH lens, primarily using Fuji Reala film.

In many situations the Leica equipment is so damned good that all I am doing is pushing the shutter...honestly. Leica does the rest. Click on the middle link below and find one for yourself. Live long the wise old gnomes in Solms!

More shots, in black and white, of people and places at the link bottom right below to Leica Gallery.

As always, copyright is reserved without limitation; please check with me before you use any image posted hereabouts for anything other than your personal enjoyment.
