You can look to almost anything for inspiration. I went to one of my favorite sources...the thesaurus, and what did i find, pray-tell-you? The first word my that sucked my eyes in...moot.

hmmm, what do you do with that? Moot. Moot, moot, moot. Today's broadcast is brought to you by the word — moot.

Moot [adj] doubtful, arguable

You can repeat a word till it seams to lose it's meaning, and then you realize the meaning and the sounds are almost inseparable. Warning: The following must be read outlound:

Moot and mean, full steam ahead. Moot and root, a debatable suit. Problematic mootish mood, mourned and maimed. Undecided, undermined, unmooted maze, a daze — dubious indeed, the seed to feed your mooty days. Awake! Arise from your mooty ways and each and every single mooty phrase.

What does it all mean? ...? That is not the point. You repeat the words with rythm and ryhme as they roll around your mind and mouth and fall out. And from somewhere with in the mess, a new inspiration is birthed, or has it already come out?

unofficial music creation collaboration contest

Well, the contest has dredged on longer than expected. This contest has proven itself either too difficult or too unworthy. It was indeed quite a challenge, but none the less, the creative rewards abounded.

For those interested in what you can do with over 40 random sounds, contributed by 5 different artists, GunDove PeaceGun DoveFall ...i have posted a song containing 8 minutes of soundscapes, created utilizing vitually every contribution. i added only one vocal element toward the end, based off of one of the Parts contributed by Seth Jacquay. For those confused at how this contest works, well, these select soundscapes are designed to provide you a glimpse into the possibilities.

As I was diving into the concept of WAR vs PEACE, my first idea was to have the two sounds virtually battling one another, intertwined, wrestling. This idea never seemed to leave me in every new combination i tried. There seems to me a tension between them. They co-exist, at-least for a time.

The contest has ended, so there will be no awards for 1st or so on, but if you still turn in a worthy attempt, i will hand out complimentary $10 itunes gift certificates — for a limited time only.
