Concert Photos shot by Alimar over the past 35 years

The earlier photos were very "rough" to say the least, but had to be included, even with their inferior quality. I just began to scan, and upload these photos to my server on June 30, 2005. Most of these photos haven't been seen in over 20 years, and I felt it was time to share them with other "Prog Heads" (although, there are a few "non-prog" artists featured). They appear online at 800 x 533, but were scanned at a much higher resolution from the original slides and negatives. I will be updating as I sort through hundreds of pictures. Shot primarily with Nikon 35mm cameras, 24mm f2.8, 58mm f1.2 NOCT, 85mm f1.8, 105 f1.8 and 80-200 f2.8 ED Nikkor lenses using Ektachrome 400 daylight film (spotlights are color balanced to daylight), 320 ISO tungsten film (Varilights, Pars and general concert lighting are tungsten based) films, and Kodachrome 400 print film. A Hasselblad (2.25" x 2.25" format) was used for an occasional concert. (Last updated - 11.28.10 @ 9:00pm EST) |
