 Prayer Upon Entering the Church

I rejoiced when they said to me:

Let us go to the house of the Lord.

I enter Thy house with thanksgiving, O Lord,

and worship in Thy Holy temple in fear of Thee.

Guide me, Lord, in Thy righteousness,

direct my path before me,

that unhindered,

and with a pure heart and an upright spirit,

I may glorify one Godhead:

Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

 
  O Heavenly King, the Comforter,
the Spirit of Truth,
who art everywhere present
and fillest all things.
Treasury of Blessings
and Giver of Life:
Come and abide in us,
and cleanse us from every impurity,
and save our souls, O Good One.
