After some time searching for an up-to-date RS sensors list, I mainly stumbled onto disparate and obsolete lists. I then decided to do one myself and share it with anyone who wants it.

This summary table concentrate on sensors procuring publicly available data of Landsat-like spatial resolution or better.

Why this table:

    * It is updated regularly. The huge AGISRS member base should allow us to keep it up to date.
    * It includes most sensors for OE, not only those from one organisation.
    * It provides pertinent links, such as archive searches and free data access.
    * Print-friendly versions of the table are available.
    *
The table is published using the GNU Free Documentation Licence to ensure free distribution.

What this table isn't:

    * This table does not generaly include future sensors/satellites. Crystal balls are easily broken in space sciences.
    * This table does not include an exhaustive list of all spaceborne sensors. See statement above.
    * This table will not tell you how to reach pure happiness within this universe.

To do list:

    * Keep it up to date as much as possible.
    * Migrate the source spreadsheet to an open format.

    * Eventually include EO airborne sensors and lesser-resolution satellite sensors.
