Tenor
ALEXANDER GROVE is one of the most
exciting up and coming operatic tenors in
the UK. He
is experienced in and equally at home on the operatic, operetta,
oratorio, recital and musical theatre stages as well as television,
radio, recording and film. His work also includes education
work being experienced in working with children, choirs
and choral societies in rehearsal or workshop environments. Based
in the UK and trained at the highest musical levels for the
last 20 years at the countries leading institutions, Alexander
continues to grow and broaden his knowledge and work internationally
with leading orchestras, coaches, singers and conductors.

In
March Alexander created 2 new roles with Scottish Opera.
The innovative new project entitled Five:15 contained
5, 15 minute operas. Popular crime author
Ian
Rankin and Grammy Award-winning composer Craig
Armstrong collaborated to produce
the intense "Gesualdo" with Alexander
in the title role. Alongside this, Alexander performed
the role of Angus in "Dream Angus" by writer
Alexander
McCall Smith and composer Stephen
Deazley. The operas were sold out in Scotland
but are now touring to London in August. Check
