History

Tenori

began in 2003 with Jon Cristos, Alexander Grove and John Marsden who met at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), Manchester.  It’s aims were to further music in the North West while encouraging audience numbers by producing entertaining concerts with low ticket prices.  Both of these were achieved whilst also raising money for charities close to their hearts: Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation and the National Kidney Research Fund.  A North West tour was set up and performed in 26 venues singing to full houses.  This was followed by corporate events, galas, weddings and collaborations with many societies in the North developing into a variety of packages based around the 3 tenors to suit any event as well as giving back to the local communities with singing / opera and musicals workshops for all ages and abilities.
