Violin by JSB make excellent studies for the
plectrum guitarist both in their technical demands as well as the insight they
provide into melodic development.
I'm sharing my fingering for the Presto in G minor here as one possible solution towards the balance of musicality and playability.

Of course, apart from their utility as studies they are magnificent works. highly recommended is Paul Galbraith's interpretation of the complete six suites on the delos label. Available here .
