observations:Two
mutually exclusive triads. In "C": C major and B flat
minor.
Four
note chords which may also be derived are D flat diminished seventh and G half
diminished seventh; and, by extension, five note chords: C7b9 (or C11b9) and
Bbm6/9 (or Dbmaj13/b5)Difficult
intervals in the key of "C" include: an augmented second between D flat and E; a
tritone between D flat and G; and a tritone between E and B
flat.These two pentatonic scales may
also be derived: Bb melodic minor and C myxolydian. Please see my previous post

The quality of this scale is reminiscent
of flamenco, middle-eastern musics and certain Indian
ragas.The composition
