Overdue:
A plan for tuning the guitar against a reference pitch/drone -- in this case "E4" (i.e., the 1st string: 329.6 Hz).
Recommended: allow the notes in these examples to ring as long as possible against a tuning fork or piano note. I confess to holding a vibrating tuning fork between my teeth as I tune-up (this would be an example of poor stage presence).
The second file has two tests to double check your tuning. If the guitar is not yet at that happy medium we call 'equal temperament', it'll show up here.
