* note the variation in first chords of measures 51 and 99 respectively - the later might be a better choice for this turnaround.
* a half beat is dropped somewhere in measure 105 on the recording - not transcribed.

an interesting percussive technique occasionally employed by Powell is illustrated above:
1. to emulate the berimbau (likely the 3rd string tucked under the 4th around the 12th fret) from the tune by the same name also on a Vondade.

2. for a snare drum effect on Marcha escocesa" from Canto on guitar [MPS (BASF) MC 25 155, 1973]. (click for close-up )
