For the Record
All transcriptions posted on this blog were transcribed and annotated by yours truly. Transcribing provides a means for me to focus my attention on (and occasionally absorbing) a broad range of approaches used by some of my favorite musicians.

Also, I hope that publicly sharing this material might be beneficial to some members in our extended family of guitarists. So, if it is to be used for your personal edification, please feel free to download anything I've posted.

It should go without saying but . . .
. . please patronize only legitimate sources to obtain the artists' recordings!

How
Apart from pencil and paper, much of the work was done at my iMac running OS X. The software I've relied on includes Amazing Slow Downer, Transcribe! , Finale, Corel Photo-Paint II, and iBlog .

a guitarist's notebook is posted using the space provided with my .Mac account.
