<body bgcolor="#FFF5E0" background="background.jpg" text="#000000" link="#0000FF" vlink="#FF0000" alink="#C00000"> <p align="center"><em><strong><font size="7">Welcome to<br> </font><font face="Times New Roman" size="7" color="#D00000">The Handlebar Club</font></strong></em></p> <p align="center"><img src="m.gif" alt="moustache / mustache" WIDTH="256" HEIGHT="60"><br> <font face="Arial" size="2" color="#D00000"><strong>Š1947</strong></font></p> <p align="center"><img src="pianist.gif" alt="pianist with moustache" WIDTH="620" HEIGHT="32"></p> <p align="center">Do you have a handlebar moustache?  Or even a handlebar mustache?<br> Then the Handlebar Club is the club for you!</p> <p>Whether you prefer the American spelling of Mustache or the English Moustache, we are all Handlebars.</p> <p>We are based at the "Windsor Castle" pub in London, England, and are an international club for men with handlebar moustaches.  Founded in 1947 and still going strong, the Handlebar Club currently has members from no less than nine different countries.</p> <p align="center">The qualification for membership is: <br> <strong>"a hirsute appendage of the upper lip, with graspable extremities"</strong> <br> and, in addition, we specify that beards are not allowed.<br> </p> <p align="left">But if you do not have a moustache, do not despair!  Because we also have "Friends of the Handlebar Club". These are supporters of the club who do not have the necessary qualification for full membership.</p> <div align="center"><center><table border="0" width="100%"> <tr> <td width="45%">Members who live in the London area usually meet on the first Friday of each month at the "Windsor Castle" in London. Do come and meet us. This is a typical English pub, full of memorabilia, especially of the Royal Family (the House of Windsor), as well as having on display various Handlebar Club trophies and photographs.
