We sent the following letter to the different classes and their teachers to explain how to fill out the questionnare.

Dear Teachers,

The attached questionnaire is to find out information to make a website for Spelthorne Borough Council. We are basing it on what the children enjoy and do.

We will be presenting our results to Spelthorne Council in a few weeks time.

The spaces in the tables are for tally’s for each multiple choice answer. If any other things come up the “other” lines are for any other options.Please could you explain to the children what is going on. After answering question two, could you explain to the children what Spelthorne Borough Council is if they don’t know. Furthermore can you tell us how many children are in your class when you total up the tallies.

Please could you return the questionnaire to the office by Thursday morning (sorry for the short notice)? It will only take about 20 minutes to complete.

We needed the questionnare filled out properly, so we could find out infomation about what the children wanted to see on the Spelthorne website. The interviews were when people told us their favourite website and what they thought a good website should look like.

we wanted to find out in paticular what clubs they did so we could put information on the website about what they liked doing.

When we had this infomation we started designing our website.

Nick put our powerpoint presentation together which was the presented at the Spelthorne Juinor Citizen Event by Lizzie and Nick.
