On our second session Mr. Ross gave us our brief and we talked about our plan.

We discussed the junior citizen event were we would need two representatives to go to the Spelthorne County Council chamber to represent the school and give them our ideas for a Spelthorne Website for kids. Our ideas would have to include what pages we would have and how they would look. We needed to come up with a plan of action.

How We Came Up With Our Ideas

In groups we made up mind-maps and put all our ideas into writing. Our mind map included who we should interview, how we should interview them, where we should interview them, when we should interview them and what questions we should ask and how many children should we interview. It also included what questions we should ask like "What is your favourite site?", "Why you like it?" and "What keeps you coming back to this site?"

We decided if we did interviews of lots of children to find out what websites were liked the best, we would get ideas from these websites. We would find out things like what the website would look like, what colours, layouts, fonts and pictures we would use. and how the layoutshould look.
