I have a full-time job, but I'm always interested in freelance or work-for-hire writing projects. Web, film, and games -- I've done it. With an MFA from USC and plenty of credits, I've got the credentials and the experience.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Online Producer/Writer/Editor/Webmaster
legacyinteractive.com
Responsible for web development, design, and site management for all of Legacy's domains. Wearing many hats, from net strategist to writer/editor to hand-coder to sysadmin to company liaison. Developed three sites, including an interactive game site and the redesign of the main corporate site.
During my tenure I coordinated with executives and producers, as well as supervising off-site techs/programmers/designers, an assistant, and a sysadmin. I implemented online forums, customer newsletters, and coordinated with technical support and customer service as the consumer's advocate.
As writer, I raised the bar, reinventing the company's approach to content and delivering high-quality drama, humor, and realism.

ersim.com
Oversaw initial development and design for online game website, then assumed producer role to complete the hosted Shockwave-Flash game itself.
Another major responsibility involved co-branding our ERsim.com site for TLC (The Learning Channel). We exchanged access to our online content for on-air promotions during TLC's popular show, Trauma: Life in the ER.
I also negotiated a new dedicated hosting solution, hired a sysadmin/Java programmer to aid in the development, and coordinated with the lead programmer and external design team to bring the system and the site online.
The site pioneered the use of an open-source Java-based Shockwave server solution running on Linux boxes, coupled with a PHP/MySQL backend.

timeoutgames.com
On this project, I oversaw development and design for a web site promoting Legacy's arcade/puzzle collection CD-ROM game, Time Out Games.
Quickly and efficiently, I wrote and compiled content, coordinated with an external design firm and a contract programmer, then brought the site online -- ahead of schedule and on budget.
The site uses extensive use of Flash technologies, as well as a system of communication between CD-ROM and site to upload high scores and download bonus game levels.

Wrote a majority of the online medical cases, working closely with co-producers, Flash artists, and medical consultants to bring each case alive. I also directed the voice talent in studio, and brought in outside writing talent.
