Ben loves holding Greer. For this picture, he sat down on the floor, pointed to his lap and said "Greer, Greer!" In this second picture he is kissing the top of her head. Before Greer was born Ben was not a kisser (when we would ask for a hug or a kiss he might come put his cheek next to ours if we were lucky), so his fondness for kissing Greer has been a bit of a surprise to us. Ben also likes to point to her hanny (hand), toe, nose, eye, and ear. We have to caution him to be careful about her eye since he has a tendency to want to put his finger in her eye.


Ben also loves to climb onto the changing table to kiss Greer when she is getting a fresh diaper (sometimes if he sees the need trying to push mom and dad aside to get better access). If she is crying, he soothingly (for a 2 year old), says, "baby, baby" and then kisses her. He also tells us "baby cying (for crying)."
