Niagara Falls, Canadian side

Summer 2005, from Leesbug to Niagara Falls, then back to Washington via New York !

the American fall and Goat Island on the right, from the observation Tower
The Canadian fall and the other side of Goat Island . the Horse Shoe
The American fall again, but at ground level
..and the Canadian fall. 52m 170ft high and 792m long (half a mile !)
The biggest falls of world by the volume of water
Canadian Horse Shoe and its mist
By boat, we can go up to the bottom of the fall !
Indians were calling these falls Water Thunder
52m (170 ft) high and 55m (180 ft) deep
At sun set , mist turns to pink
and give a complete rainbow
The river goes on and then sharply turns to the right
creating the world largest twirl (dia 500m 1600ft)
Once soaked, visiting the city, you'll feel at home
Upstream of the falls, this peaceful park was once a factory using water mills
Canadian geese protecting the young ones
You can't get close
Calling the tribe..
... and they rush !
Ready for Take Off !
And so cute !
Bye ! We go to New York !
Yes ! Of course ! Can't do without it ! But still, touching it is something !
The weather was so bad in NY, we could not take more picture. So, Back Home !
