Back to Colorado !!!

That was quick, too quick , but at least : We did it ! We saw it ! The Grand-GRAND CANYON ! Let's go back to Denver, via Monument Valley - We shall see also Aspen, Delta, the Rocky Mountain National Park...

Heading : Monument Valley, and the Indians , the Cavalry.. That's the road ahead , in Arizona. Then from the Four Corners ... ... in Colorado, to finally reach Denver ! Fill the tank ! Yet other canyons, sun squashed We can't grow tired of these, so colorful, so steep, ... .. so impressive !!! We just passed Kayenta , and there it is : Monument Valley ! At each curve of the road, we hear the Wells Fargo coach chased by the Indians We look for the smoke signals .... I can hear the Cavalry rushing , with the bugle call ! Waouh !! And with reason, since the Indians are here ! And in costumes ! This is in Delta, a Pow-Wow of the Hute tribes ( Orthograph checked) The Traditional Danse Contest, in costume, wiil last a good part of the night ! Around the site , Teepees ! We do feel like IN a western movie .. Specially when few miles away, entering a small village... ... John Wayne is probably at the Saloon .. ... or at the Trading Post !We are very close to Denvers. This place is named .... Red Rocks !!! Do you see why ? Two more pictures, and we'll take you to the North of Denver.. To the Rocky Mountain National Park! In September, the foliage, the deers ..and the chipmunks ! Slightly different than squirrels, so cute ...and taking poses ! Still some red in the rocks,.... .. but the whole landscape is much greener, due to many beautiful rivers ! Wild Life is also more visible Fall is THE period for deers, gathering the herd and feeding in view of coming winter All are moving around in these vast areas huge, wild Magnificent ! There is more variety in the landscapes, and more population too ! We could almost touch them ! I would like to dress my tent in here ! And stay ! ... with nice neighbors like this one The little tent in the great prairie... ...with many little friends ! With the shower corner ! All modern comfort !! That's it ! Fall is here !
