Grand Teton National Park - part 1
Almost attached at the South entrance of Yellowstone, Grand Teton park has the same wildlife than Yellowstone, just no geysers !

Just a few miles South to reach the park
Yes , it is frost on the car's roof .
Lakes are making calm landscapes, but sometimes ...

Strange landscape !
The famous peak range of Grand Teton
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Teton_National_Park explains the origins
of Grand Teton's name. The formation is also well explained
High mountains 13 770ft (4197m), lakes, rivers, meadows and forests
... and the kind wapitis !
... and some rain as well !
Bisons are here as well !
This one is trying to convince the female ...
but finally she does not agree ( headache probably ! )
" Na-na-nee-na-nere ! "

" Pfff ! Soooo funny ! "

Those sharp summits collected snow and ice, built glaciers which in turn ...
... made the lakes surrounded by moraines
Big and nice lakes
Crystal clear lakes
I am really fond of chipmunks ! Small, but so fast, so clever !
I was standing on a large rock , taking pictures of the lake, and the chipmunk
came to the rock . I did not move at all, keeping the camera glued to the eye
Since I was "petrified" , he became braver, and came closer
Whiz !
Hello little you !

You'll see them again , from time to time
Lake and Mountain . I did not switch to Black&White. Just bad weather
Nice shape !
Going on a trail , an easy one around the lake
I do not know what happened to this one !
They seem less shy than in Yellowstone
Dark skies, dark waters, dark mountains - Need sunlight !
Thank You !
Contemplation !
