I got sick again, James in daycare...

James has been in daycare since 9/6. Apart from some initial, unexplained rashes, he seems to love it there. He's formed a quick bond with Frances, his primary caregiver.

Also, James wakes up in the mornings in our bed, and I usually wake up to find him looking at me. When he seems me looking at him, he smiles broadly and tries to roll over toward me. Very cute and touching.

William colored a picture in daycare of a brown man. He said the man is brown because "my daddy is brown". He likes my (brown) skin, and Adriana, one of his teachers, says that he likes to color brown people.

I got sick again last week, for the fourth time in four months. Fever (up to 103.6 F), along with aches, chills, sweats, headaches. The usual. I took leftover augmentin (amoxicillin and something else), but I think it largely went away on its own. I called my doctor, who said I should wait it out and see her if it lasted a week or more.

I'm getting tired of being sick, though, and I wondered if the allergy shots had something to do with it. My fevers started roughly the same time I went to a once/week schedule of shots. (The last weekly shot was this week; I'm going back to once every other week now.) I saw my allergist yesterday, and he took copious notes and asked lots of questions. He's taking it seriously, not just saying "It's a virus; rest up." So, I got blood tests for a baseline, and I'll have another follow up 10 days later.
