L1B0a thresholdsOn Friday, STEREO had two aliveness tests (for
FM1 and FM2), and we were able to test threshold effects for L1B0a. After the
MSU run, I've noticed that there are lots of priority buffer 25 (bad live stim)
events, about 7% of PB 24 (good live stim), whereas the ratio was <1% at MSU.
My investigation showed the bad live stim events had second L1B signals in
L1B0a, and it was proposed that we raise L1B0a thresholds to get rid of
"crosstalk". I watched the data streaming into skadi in Room 5 with Branislav,
and we could easily see the priority buffer 24 and 25 counts shift with higher
threshold settings.
I sent out the plots and reported the results today. Pasted Graphic.pdfPasted Graphic 1.pdf Posted: Mon - November 14, 2005 at 02:55 PM |
