Excerpt of an excellent article on the Christian Reconstructionists from the gay perspective:

[The Christian Reconstructionists] are far more insidious and dangerously focused than people like Fred Phelps of God Hates Fags fame. There are relatively few of them, yet they have managed to take control of the Republican Party and its apparatus at the local, state and national level, and are poised to take control of the judicial system as well.

What they really want is theocracy in America.
