Political Theater...



Loved the President's speech last night. Not only for the content, but the style. He definitely showed once again that, like him or hate him, he's a consummate politician.

He's played the fringe right like a harp, allowing them to pull a total nutty over death panels, while he stands above the fray. Then he uses a joint session of Congress to scold them for playing cheap games while people go without health care. Then, ever willing to to show no hyperbole about their stupidity is inaccurate, they have some twit shout at the President while he's speaking, proving the President's point perfectly.

And the guy they had give the response... What was that about? For the first 5 minutes I thought he was going to try to sell me Ol' Doc Boustany's Snake Oil Liniment and Banjo Salve. Why do they keep putting these corpses on TV?
