Schadenfreude

Cox can't keep it in his pants...

Yesterday we found out that Michigan Attorney General, Mike Cox (hee hee) had an extramarital affair a number of years ago. Normally I wouldn't care about this sort of thing because he's a Republican and these days it's simply expected that they will either gamble, lie, cheat, or commit adultery. (That last link is pretty amusing, by the way.)

The only reason I do care is because Cox (hee hee) has been working tirelessly to insure that gay people in Michigan receive no domestic partnership benefits from their employers -- a broad interpretation of the gay marriage ban, which was added to our State Constitution last November.

Apparently gay families having health insurance is bad, but cheating on your wife is OK. Thanks for clearing that up for me, Mr. Cox (hee hee).
