 I've been memed.
Glen tagged me with this meme that's been going around like a virus lately. And, he mentioned something about hot gymnast pictures, so I was glad to oblige him with one.
1. Total amount of music files on your computer?
3780 songs. Which is 11.4 days worth, or 21.21 GB. I thought that was a lot until I saw some other people's responses to that question. Now I see that my collection is pretty tiny.
2. Last CD you bought was?
Wow...I rarely even buy CDs any more. Mostly I just click away at the iTunes music store.
I think the last CD I bought was the soundtrack to the movie Latter Days, which I bought soley for the version of "Abide with Me" that's on it.
3. What was the last song you listened to before reading this message?
According to iTunes it was "Beautiful Disaster" by 311.
4. Write down 5 songs you often listen to that mean a lot to you.
"The Art Teacher" by Rufus Wainwright. I'm a huge fan of Rufus (who I think is a cutie in addition to being a great singer/songwriter.) And, the quiet desperation of this song, mixed with the teenage-crushing-on-the-unattainable is wonderful.
"Ode to Boy" by Yaz. Oh, we've all watched some guy from across the bar and felt this way.
"Don't Fade Away" by Dead Can Dance. This was the first DCD song Brian played me when we started courting. And he sings it well too.
"Englishman in New York" by Sting. Because this is often how I feel, especially given the current political climate.
"Beautiful Child" by Rufus Wainwright. Because this is also often how I feel. Great for a dark, gray, gloomy, snowy, Michigan March day.

This is getting harder and harder because so many people have already gotten it.
